Emerging curators and artists are invited to apply for the Curatorial Fellowship each year through the the Rutter Family Art Foundation. The fellowship supports the mounting of an exhibition in the contemporary art space, located in the heart of Norfolk, VA’s NEON arts district.

The RFAF Curatorial Fellow should be an individual or collective who is excited by the possibilities of creating a show that melds contemporary art within this alternative art space and encourages the inclusion of programming during the exhibition.

Our 2018 Curatorial Fellow is Kimberly McKinnis. Her show, Slouching Toward Sunshine opens Friday, March 9, 2018 and runs through April 15.

Applications for the fellowship are available in the fall and announced every January.
